A ribbon-cutting ceremony for a multi-purpose facility that aims to transform the lives of RHA residents takes place Fri., April 26, 2024, starting at 1 p.m. A vacant five-bedroom unit in Harris Gardens Apts. has been converted into a vibrant space for teens and their parents to learn computer coding, for youths to play video games, an entrepreneurship hub for aspiring business owners and a daycare for parents to seek and maintain employment.
Services rendered, furniture, equipment and training material are provided by Courtney Jordan Foundation Americas based in Durham, N.C.
This event coincides with a HUD site visit.
