The Authority is receiving applications for the following position:
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME): Roxboro Housing Authority is seeking a qualified person for Maintenance Technician. Work involves using skills to maintain buildings, facilities, grounds and light equipment at four sites and 210 Public Housing units. Performs carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry, welding and general repairs to complete work orders resulting from inspections and tenant-generated contact with the Housing Authority. Must have at least two years of experience in maintenance or related field. One year of experience with Uniform Physical Condition Standards (UPCS) preferred. Must be professional, able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be willing to learn. Must pass drug screening and follow Fair Housing laws. Competitive salary and full benefits offered.
